22 years ago

The second half of March were celebrated my 22nd birthday. The weekend before my bday, Justin had bought me tickets to see Aaron Lewis at Green Valley Ranch where my girlfriend, Shipa and her bf Derek, joined us for a night of fun! We had also got a room at the M for the night to have a little mini staycation in between my crazy work schedule.

There is only one word to describe him:

INCREDIBLE

Then we went to STEEL PANTER!!

The following morning we went to Hash House A GO GO where their farm fresh portions are ridiculously large. My pancake is larger than my stinkin plate!

Then finally my bday arrived! I decided to work the day of since all of my family and friends were also working, I'd rather have the Saturday and Sunday off and celebrate all weekend long!

So two hours into my shift, a man came to the desk with HUGE bouquet of flowers and a happy birthday balloon. No big deal, we always have flowers delievered to the hotel and then we send them up to the guest rooms. Well this time they were for me, all mine, they were absolutely gorgeous and from Momma and T!

After work, Shilpa and I went to get a manicure and pedicure as we waited for our boys to get off work and then met my family at Yardhouse for dinner and drinks. Justin said that since its my birthday and we are at Yardhouse, I HAVE to drink the largest beer they offer the 1/2 yard.

[remember, the only time that i drink beer, is when playing beer pong]

The following night, we went to Pete's Piano Bar.

We laughed, danced, sang, drank as we continued to celebrate.

Momma's Day

This week I am officially FULL TIME!

happy happy day to think that i am going to have:

a fabulous paycheck ALL the time

a little thing called comp nights

I am so greatful that I have a wonderful job. Thank you to all of my coworkers who have made my first year unforgettable. I love you all and you make it exciting to come to work.

I am so proud of our desk. We completely smashed our all time high for upsells and have been recognized numerous times and still keep climbing.

Thankfully I love working with my team because now that I am full time, I will be there all the time

Inspiration to Reality

The furture Mrs. Gums, Katie, is taking her first set of engagement photos this weekend on the beach, in the beautiful San Diego. She found some inspiration and then asked for my help. Thanks to A Whimsical Fashion Shoot on the Green Wedding Shoes Wedding Blog we were able create something that will last her forever.

We first began our night meeting at Joann's where we picked our floral, which so happened to be 50% OFF. After purchasing all of our materials, which there weren't much, we headed back to my house in my new arts and crafty room and began to piece it together.
