about time

Today was officially my LAST first day of school ever.
It feels so good to know that in 16 weeks,
I will be walking across the stage in a cap and gown.
After seventeen years of starting school, I finally see the finish line.
I am so thankful to have been supported by my family and friends.

Go Rebels!

ps I told you I would be out the door with my degree in four years!

perfect kind of day

Yesterday, Justin and I both had the day off.

Rare occasion and we like to take advantage of it. We started the day by taking his truck to get an oil change, while we waiting we went to the grocery store and laughed as we walked down the aisles trying to find the best deals possible.

Since his truck was done much sooner than expected we drove back to the dealership and I dropped him off only to have a phone call minutes later on how much money our preferred owner card had saved him.
i've trained him well.

After putting the groceries away we changed and headed to the gym in our community. We like to bring out our competitive sides, which only makes that elliptical and dreadful arm exercises somewhat enjoyable. It so nice and convenient that we have a million dollar clubhouse down the street where you are normally the only one taking advantage of it.

I love how we are able to go to almost all of the REBEL games. Last night was no exception. We cheered, joked and laughed with our friends as we watched them blow out the competition.

Following the game, Luke and Katie suggested going to Miller Ale House in Town Square which was a total hit. They have fabulous drink specials all the times and the environment is fun and inviting.

I absolutely LOVED our day together.

Even the little things like running errands and getting ready together I cherish.

It was perfect sharing our giant soft pretzel.

Days like yesterday, I want to remember forever.
